So how do you get to Aich? Because Aich is situated in the Dachstein-Tauern region it is easily accessable from any of the major airports in the area. The "no frills" airlines fly daily directly into these airports: Salzburg, Graz and Klagenfurt.

Vienna - is the Austrian capital and it dates back to the 5th century B.C. and was the capital of the Habsburg empire for almost 7 centuries. During the Cold War years it bacame a vital hub for connections between the east and the west. In 2005 Austria celebrated the 60th year of second republic. Vienna is seen as a multi-cultural city.

Music lovers from all over the world are attracted to Vienna. It is seen by many as the classical music capital of the world. Influenced by Mozart and Beethoven ,among others, the music scene is still alive and well.

Vienna offers many tours, on foot or by bus and there are many sights to see. From the giant ferris wheel, that offers rides all through the year, to Mozarts house, to the great castles and buildings such as Schönbrunn Palace (the other Austrian site put on the UNESCO list of worldwide heritage in 2005), the Belvedere and Hofburg.

Vienna is situated on the Danube, and there are also boat tours down the Danube available.

Vienna boasts over 100 museums, 50 theatres, and four opera houses. During the summer months there is the Vienna film festival which is held on the Rathausplatz.

The UN and also the OECD are also seated in Vienna. It plays an important role in global politics and it hosts many important political meetings.

Graz - the culture capital of Europe 2003, is home to one of the greatest british designs in modern architecture. The Graz art museum or "Kunsthaus" was designed by Peter Cook and was only just beaten last year in the BBCs british architecture awards by "the gherkin". "The friendly Alien" as it is known was opened in September 2003.

The Schlossberg is a focal point of the city. Standing at the top of the hill is the clock tower, which if you look at closely you will see the hands are swaped. The long hand for the hours and the short hand for the minutes. Here you can venture to the top and get a great view of the city. Also there is a grotto train journey throught the hill.

Graz is a historical city and has architecture from all periods and influences from other countries. Inhabited by the Habsburgs until 1619, it was a vital city between the east and the west. There is a lot to do in Graz. Many museums, churches and historical sites as well as an extensive shopping area and three shopping malls just outside of the main town.

Graz has a large number of cafés and bars. It is a university city and everyone can find something they will enjoy in the evenings. From the Diagonale film festival every year, through the yearly jazz festival, the Styrian Autumn celebration to there Mardi Gras celebrations. Graz has somthing all through the year for everyone.
